The Clyde Brothers grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC and began making films the day their parents brought home a hot, new state-of-the-art VHS camcorder. Rob is the oldest and Ben the middle child of the five Clyde kids. They credit their large family as a main source of inspiration; but they also believe their creative imaginations were greatly influenced at an early age from sitting through healthy doses of church and television. What they learned from both is that in order to connect with people you've got to be innovative, entertaining, and tell great stories. Today the Clyde Brothers tell their own stories as a writer/director team in the world of advertising and film.

The Older Brother
Rob got his start with a communications degree from George Mason University, and took his first real job as a sports radio host in Washington DC. He then moved to Florida to become the marketing director at a publishing company, and eventually went on to be a freelance creative director and executive producer. Prompted by his wife's acting career, Rob moved to Los Angeles in 2001 to really focus on his career as a director. He now lives in South Pasadena, CA with his wife and their four-year-old son.

The Younger Brother
Benjamin earned a finance degree from James Madison University that quickly proved useless for his creative ambitions. After attending the LA Film School, he helped launch the Crawford Group, a production company in Orlando, FL; writing, producing and directing digital campaigns and original content. He then moved to New York City to pursue his passion for documentary film. For the next 2 years he traveled around the globe to direct and shoot humanitarian film projects. Ben moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to officially launch the Clyde Brothers as a writing directing team ready to change the world.
